Overview
The new know-how practice of transporting and replacing switch
using the machine is unique for the world practice of track repair
work on surface and underground railways.
The machine mechanize and reduce labor in underground subways, elevates the safety level of train traffic by making possible to replace the switch in a single stage. New technology of taking the railway section aside to the tunnel wall allows to transport the railway section vertically and replace it under the machine's frame.
Using the machine in tunnels and subways makes it possible in a short period to replace internal-combustion and diesel engine locomotives with an electric-engine ones for a freight traffic. This helps to reduce the air pollution in and prevents the fire in the tunnel.
